Well, interesting news! There will be a Digimon Adventure 03 starting in spring of 2015! It'll be about the original kids in high school. Maybe we'll get some nice Koumi goodness! I hope so and I hope that they have Mimi be back in Japan for the upcoming anime as well. I don't care if the pairing never becomes canon, I want them to interact! If she comes back, she and Koushirou will be in their first year of high-school as Taichi/Sora/Yamato will be 17 for it and Jou would be 18 in his last year of high school.

I agree with ~spectrevampire ~nightinthetwilight !!! I ship mimi and Izzy so hard! Just started season two! Shes closest to izzy, and i think they get married at the end! I mean red headed boy??? haha of course izzy!;D Plus she was over his house in season 2!
She was over his house in 02 at some point? I must've missed that. To my knowledge, she never was. In the Odaiba Memorial Day episode, I was a bit down that they didn't show the two interacting much in a general sense.
Just started the series, and already I ship "IzMi", as I call it. They had some chemistry when they were lumped together after File Island was broken apart. Plus, the scene in Ep. 15 (or 16, I can't be sure) where Mimi slipped and landed on Izzy was pure shiptease.
Aww it's dead. How sad.
